Objective
I seek a position as a multimedia professional at a dynamic company or institution with a positive atmosphere, utilizing my skills and experience to obtain the organization’s goals and further advance my skills. Experience
2008 - 2009
I worked as part of a team creating a website for the Village of Roscoe Police Department. My primary responsibility dealt with modifying an existing template (chosen by the Police Chief) to improve cross-browser compatibility. In addition, I assisted in modifying some of the PHP files to enhance certain features on the site.
2008
I converted the Village of Roscoe website to a WordPress CMS. During the process, I customized and enhanced several features of the CMS package. In addition, I created several entirely new features using my skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and Flash.
2007 - 2008
I created a website as part of a university class assignment. I created the site using my skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and ImageReady from a photoshop wireframe.
After porting it to WordPress, this site evolved to become my personal website and blog to discuss current projects and thoughts. I created a book list database leveraging Amazon's API via a custom WordPress plugin.
2005
I created a website for the Village of Roscoe based on an initial concept developed by one of the Village Trustees. I discussed requirements and ideas with Village representatives and enhanced the website with dymanic features such as flash, interactive forms etc. that would present a positive image for the Village. I provided training to Village personnel on maintenance of the site. Upon completion, I distributed information about the site to create public awareness of it.
